Peter Murphy unveils his debut series of original artworks, exploring his iconic gothic aesthetic through self-portraiture and music iconography.

Our first release includes a very special series of 13 framed artworks and is an in-depth exploration of Peter’s introspective journey throughout the last few years, with strong references to his ‘Godfather of Goth’ persona. Bold colours, gothic undertones, energetic brushstrokes, and distinctive references to his musical career show how interlaced the artist and musician are. 

21 artworks will be released online throughout July and August. Peter Murphy has contemplated this series since he was 17, when he was accepted into art school. Unable to attend due to work, he took a different path and progressed into music. However, Peter has always been a passionate fine artist.
