NEWS 01.27.10 Announcing The Peter Murphy Secret Bee Series Webcast Episode One February 11, 2010 7PM EST (11:59 PM GMT) This not-to-be-missed event will be broadcast live from a secret and extremely intimate studio location, deep in the Catskill Mountains, and available only to fans who subscribe. Peter will perform bare-boned, crackling, sparked performances of his solo classics, previews of up and coming new album songs alongside never before performed Bauhaus songs. The webcast will include an interactive behind the scenes experience. Peter has assembled an all-star cast for the event including John Andrews on guitar, Brian Viglione of Dresden Dolls on drums and percussion and Zef NoiSe on electric violin. Each webcast ticket includes 10 hours of viewing for the live event and the video on demand for up to one month for those fans who live in a timezone for which the live event is inconvenient or for those that wish to view it again and again. 01.26.10 Secret Bee Series rehearsals Peter Murphy is rehearsing this week for the Live 'Secret Bee Webcast' to air on Feb 15th. For now, Peter and his Guitarist John Andrews are going through the set with previews of Peter's new up and coming album songs, as well as rare Bauhaus album tracks that are being dusted off for the crackle and being sown amongst PM solo classics. This is going to be raw and real and where it's at.

12.13.09 Peter Murphy Soundtrack for Turkish Documentary Series; "Small is Stunning " "SMALL IS STUNNING" Directed and Produced by Sevtap Thurston for National Turkish Television (TRT 1) features instrumental soundtrack extracts from Peter Murphy’s Dust album works. Specifically Peters music accompanies 9 of the 12 of the complete series, i.e. episodes 3 thru 12. To date 6 out of the ultimate 12 episodes has aired across nationally across Turkey and can be seen streamed on the TRT television web site podcast: Small Is Stunning

09.20.09 Peters guest artist on the European Secret Covers Tour will be Lettie. Also joining the show in London at the Art Indigo will be Kirsten Morrison.
09.13.09 Murphy to film cameo role. Peter will film his cameo role in the new and third film in the twilight series called "Eclipse" on September 24th - 26th. Expect a classic pM appearance once the film is released which will probably be spring of 2010.
09.13.09 Peter Murphy was invited to attend and play at the Beshara Trust Symposium. "Self Knowledge and Global Responsibility" Towards a Unified Vision. Symposium 2009' The event lasted from September 9th - 11th where Peter attended all three days performing on the 10th. Alongside peter were; John Andrews (Peters newest addition to his band) and Member of the Vast Earth Orchestra. Other music on other nights was provided by Matt Seattle and Vast Earth Orchestra. 8.26.09 Peter appeared with NIN last night at Trent Reznor’s invitation to appear in the final four East coast USA NIN shows on their "Wave Goodbye" tour, that mark the end of the NIN live experience. Trent and peter are choosing what songs to do together on the night. Last night at Terminal 5 in NYC they performed (NIN's) Reptile , ( Bauhaus's) Kick in the Eye & (Joy Division’s) Dead Souls. The appearances continue tonight again at Terminal 5 in NYC, show times starts at 8.45 pm. Then onto Chicago 28th 29th at Aragon.
8.07.09 Peter Murphy to release the third in the series of secret covers. A cover of Joy Division's TRANSMISSION (LIVE N' CRAKIN) taken from Murphy's recent July concert at the Highline Ballroom in NYC this past July 09.
To appear exclusively on Murphy's Huvolla Music label and only available on I tunes, TRANSMISSION (LIVE N' CRAKIN) showcases Peter's full band line-up, including the induction of noted NY based guitarist John Andrews, alongside Jeff Shartoff (bass) Mark G Thwaite (guitar) & Nick Troy Lucero (drums).
